BIRD institute will be a National Institute of excellence and distinction, serving primarily in the field of Rheumatology & Musculoskeletal diseases related sciences, dealing not only with patient care but exploring new standards.
Our Mission
We are committed to developing a state-of-the-art facility for Rheumatic diseases that will be a referral centre for patient care & an experimental hub for excelling in standards of care, aggregating different fields of medicine for patient care, academia, audit and research. We will provide services comprising of disease dedicated outpatient & in-patient services, biologics & other innovation-based treatment to all, carried out as a cumulative effort of multiple teams. Care will be evidence based, innovative and audited and researched. The estimate of overall burden of Rheumatic diseases and long-term plans for prevention and management in the terrain will be planned by outreaching far corners through tele-medicine, periphery empowerment, and decentralization.
